Hi, I’m Bobbijo.

I’m a designer and writer based in Armidale, working with businesses here and right across the country. Brands, websites, print and the words to go with them — plus the marketing know-how to help it all land.
You work directly with me, the whole way through. A lot of the people I work with have been with me five years or more, but I still take on a few new projects each year for the change of scene.
What I do
One person who can actually do all of it.
Most people who do this stick to one part of it. I do the lot, so I can take something from a first scribble all the way to a finished campaign — or just step in wherever you’re stuck.
Brand & identity
Your logo and the whole look of the business, whether you’re just getting started or it’s time for a tidy-up.
Websites, design & build
I design them and I build them, from a simple one-pager to something bigger. And yes, they work properly on a phone.
Print & collateral
Brochures, packaging, signage, menus. The things people actually hold in their hands and hang onto.
Words & content
The writing that goes with all of it, and helping a business work out how it wants to sound.
Strategy & consulting
Working out what you want to say, who needs to hear it, and how to actually go about it. Planning, the occasional audit, and a sounding board when you need one.
Digital advertising
Google and social ads, plus a bit of SEO when it’s worth it. Set up, kept an eye on, and adjusted as we go.
How I work
A few things worth knowing about working with me.
Hands-on, start to finish.
No agency in the middle and no being passed around. You talk to me, I do the work, and I remember what we said last time.
Everything in one place.
Usually the design, the marketing and the words come from three different people who don’t quite agree. With me, it’s all coming from the same head.
Happy to be the extra hands.
A lot of what I do is alongside in-house teams or other studios, picking up the bits that fall through the cracks. I’m not precious about it. Honestly, it’s some of my favourite work.

A little about me
Designer and writer, formally trained — based in Armidale, NSW.
I’ve been at this since 2012 — the early years in an agency before going out on my own in 2019. I’m formally trained in design too: a diploma in graphic design, a Bachelor of Internet Communications, and a Master of Media and Communications. I’m stubborn about doing the thinking before I open the design software.
I run all of this from Armidale around two small kids — which is exactly why I keep my list short, stay close to the work, and would rather do a few things properly than lots of things in a hurry. If you’ve got something in mind, even if it’s only half-formed, I’d genuinely love to hear about it.

Bring me the thing you’ve been meaning to get to — a logo that’s seen better days, a brochure that needs to exist, a landing page, a campaign, or a half-formed “could you maybe…?”. Rough is fine. Scribbled on the back of an envelope is fine. I read every one myself, and you’ll usually hear back the same day or the next.
